Study visit in BerlinOut president Biljana Vasilevska Trajkoska , the Vice President Maria Roidi, together with representatives of our members and our partners: Municipality of Neapoli Sikies Greece, Municipality of Thessaloniki Greece, Municipality of Bitola FYROM, youth and social workers and teachers, representatives from our members and partners from the civil society as well as schools from both countries, visited our members Bezirksamt Mitte von Berlin - Jugendamt, Sozialraumkoordination Moabit West to get to know each other better and to explore how to boost up the inter-sectoral cooperation so as to support the improvement of young people's lives particularly the recognition of youth work, access to rights of young people, local youth policies and human rights education and plan our future joint activities

Learning to Live Together: a Shared Commitment to Democracy Conference on the Future of Citizenship and Human Rights Education in Europe Strasbourg, 20 – 22 June 2017 The participants of the Conference on the Future of Citizenship and Human Rights Education in Europe discussed and amend the draft recommendations below in Strasbourg on 20 – 22 June 2017. The aim of the Conference was to strengthen the implementation of the Council of Europe Charter on Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights. The basis for the discussion was the Report on the State of Citizenship and Human Rights Education in Europe compiled from the results of an extensive survey conducted with a wide range of stake-holders, and which highlights the Charter as an effective tool in the promotion of human rights and democracy through education.
The participants’ recommendations will be used for the preparation of the Council of Europe Programme of Activities 2018-2019. |
Symposium 'Youth Policy Responses to the Contemporary Challenges Faced by Young People’From 12 - 14 June 2017, our members will be in Prague on the Symposium 'Youth Policy Responses to the Contemporary Challenges Faced by Young People. The Symposium is organized by the The EU-CoE youth partnership to take stock of the developments in the field and to identify future orientations and dynamics in youth policy at local, national and European levels.
CHariSMA: Combating Hate Speech Multipliers and Ambassadors
YSRN went to Larisa, Greece so as to support our member organizations Youthnet Hellas and Alternative Innovative Development in combating hate speech 3rd Compass Forum on Human Rights Education.Representatives of Youth Social Rights Network (Nato Antia and Sulkhan Chargeishvili – also representing Public School) participated in 3rd Compass Forum on Human Rights Education. The Forum was hosted by European Youth Center in Budapest (5-7 October 2016).

Enter Seminar, from policy to practice!On 26th to 28th of September representatives of the YSRN participated in a very important seminar related to the implementation of the Enter Recommendations on a local level. Local authorities together with youth workers promised to work all together to the implementation of the recommendations.

TRANZIT seminarRepresentatives of Youth Social Rights Network (Ms. Biljana Vasilevska Trajkoska as trainer and Ms. Maria Roidi as a representative of the Youth Social Rights Network and our partners / supporters the Municipality Neapoli – Sykies Greece) participated in the Tranzit Seminar on youth work and youth policy practices in support of young people’s transition to autonomy and work life that was held, in the European Youth Centre Budapest period 5-7 July 2016.
